Good investment - Whirlpool As a service enineer, I am frequently called out to a washing machine because it will not drain. Generally, I find the reason for this problem is because of small items such as rubber bands, coins, buttons, hair pins, necklaces, socks and other small clothing. These items can work their way into the drain pump and jam the impeller which will prevent the machine from draining. The path for these objects to travel from the revolving drum to the pump is between the gap of the revolving drum and the door rubber seal. Whirlpool have designed their door seal with little or no gap for these objects to pass through. The drain pump also has a filter to protect it from these objects. These two features will undoubtedly save you money. Fault symptoms caused by the objects mentioned can appear to be much more serious than they actually are and on many of occasions perfectly good washing machines are wrongly thrown out as a result. This is certainly one good reason why the Whirlpool is a good investment.
Whirlpool washing machines are well known for drum activity. The frequency of drum movement is such that it will ensure your
clothes are cleaned to the highest standard.
